Answer Acceptance sampling is the selection of a portion of a lot of products for inspection in order to decide whether or not to accept that entire lot.
Acceptance sampling is generally based on a statistical analysis to derive a threshold maximum number of defects allowed before an entire lot is rejected. Lots of bulk material will typically have pass/fail criteria.
