Acquiring venture capital

First, you must understand that venture capitalists are inundated with business plans and funding requests and typically respond to a tiny percentage of these pitches. You must make your proposal creative in presentation and compelling in substance to even get looked at, let alone funded. There are many critical elements to demonstrate, but three of the most obvious and important are:

1. Sales revenues that demonstrate the market potential of your product or service.

2. A management team that has the proven ability to execute your plan.

3. Differentiation from the competition.
