Attorney / client communications

Question
What is the most common complaint that clients have with regard to their attorney?
Answer
The most common complaint many clients have about their attorney is the failure of the attorney to communicate with the client. This can range from case developments to current matters at hand to being reachable to answer client questions. Many malpractice suits can be avoided merely by responding to the client’s phone calls and letters, even when bad news must be delivered.
