Avoiding difficult customers

Question
How can I avoid difficult business customers?
Answer
Frankly, when you're starting your business, you probably will have to take all customers, difficult or otherwise, as long as they don't cost you money. Once you're more established, you can begin the profiling process.

One of the best ways to avoid difficult business customers is to create a profile of your ideal client and use it to attract these customers. Here are a few ideal customer characteristics to consider:

- The industry your client should come from
- Where the company should be based
- How it's organized, especially how it makes decisions
- The size of the company
- The culture of the company
