Bounce-back definition

Question
What does the term "bounce-back" mean in marketing?
Answer
A bounce-back is a follow-up offer that is send to a customer along with a product that has already been ordered.

A bounce-back is a good selling tool for at least two excellent reasons:

1. Your new offer is essentially free of deliver charge to you.

2. This offer is being made to a qualified, current customer.
