Browser window sizeQuestion Do I need to consider the screen resolution of my target audience?
Answer Creating a site that is "usable" by as many of your visitors as possible means making sure all the important stuff -- your navigation bar, your contact info and the main attraction on your homepage -- fits into the window size (also known as "screen resolution") visibly without scrolling.
The question is, what resolution are your users using? You should be able to get this information from your website log files. If you don't know how to access your site's log files, just ask your hosting company or webmaster to guide you. Be careful not to try to be all things to all people; create your site resolution to serve most of your users.
