Business survival rate
What is the survival rate expected for new businesses?
Two-thirds of small businesses survive into the third year, and 44 percent survive into the fifth year, according to research conducted by the U.S. Small Business Administration. This means that over half of all small businesses fail before the end of the fifth year.
