Candidate interview questionsQuestion Is it permissible for the job candidate to ask questions in the interview?
Answer Human resources specialists encourage candidates to ask questions in a job interview.
Every interviewer should ask a candidate if he or she has any questions after completing the interview. A candidate's questions can actually shed insight on the individual's level of interest and degree of knowledge or skill. For example, when the candidate asks about a particular work procedure or process, the specific nature of the question can demonstrate the candidate's level of experience in relation to the job opening. On the other hand, a candidate whose first question is to ask about sick days or vacation time off may be demonstrating his or her interest in taking time off work rather than doing a good job for your firm.
