Client credit checks

Credit checks are good business for small businesses. If you're not familiar with a new client, or don't know if they are financially sound, protect yourself with a credit check.

You especially should consider getting a credit report on any client that you might have to expend money for. According to the Associated Credit Bureaus, you should be able to buy a credit report on any business or individual for under $50. That could prove to be a fine investment indeed.
