Cold calling frequency

How often should I make cold calls? 
Ideally, you would never make a cold call, because the best calls happen when the prospect knows you're coming. But since that's not always possible, especially when first getting established, after you've done everything you can to make scheduled calls, when you have extra prospecting time, try to make one cold call every day.

The key is consistency. For some people, doing them all at once works best. Others might prefer doing a block of them every day. The important thing is to do them consistently so that you can get some momentum going and use what you learn in one call for the next. If too much time passes between making cold calls, you’ll never get in the groove enough to learn from the experience.
