Corporate values definitionQuestion I've heard the term, "corporate values." What does it mean?
Answer Corporate values represent what your company stands for as a business operating in the marketplace, as a corporate citizen or employer, a community player, as well as its environmental commitment.
Making sure all managers and employees understand and demonstrate those values are key to success in the 21st century global marketplace. It represents a significant opportunity to differentiate your business to customers who are attracted to those values. The "values" component is just as important for small businesses as it is for large ones. Very importantly, corporate values must be more than rhetoric -- printed or spoken; they must be demonstrated everyday.
