Creating a valuable bookQuestion How can I turn my book into a valuable resource?
Answer The first thing to do to make your book a valuable resource is to write a book that has a compelling message for at least a certain profile of reader.
Structurally, be sure to include a comprehensive resource section in the Appendix of any book or booklet you write. List other books on the subject, as well as the magazines, videos, Websites, blogs, associations, newsletters, pamphlets, etc., that focus on the topic or category. Be sure to include your own Website or blog, as well as any other books you've written. This helps to make your book a valuable reference and, therefore, more than just a quick read. But remember: A book without distribution isn't much more than your personal diary.
