Creative judgment

Judgment is the process that allows us to consolidate and refine ideas down to the point where they can be implemented. Use judgment to narrow down and refine a list of ideas and options.

Once a list of ideas has been generated using tools like brainstorming, it's time to apply affirmative judgment to filter the list down to manageable size.

There are dozens of tools that can be used to assist with judgment such as voting, check-lists, criteria, sorting, and evaluation matrices.
