Cross-sell, or cross selling, is a sales technique of offering related products or services to a prospective customer.

A cross-sell in the fast-food restaurant would sound like, "Would you like fries with that?" A cross-sell in the automobile showroom would sound like "Would you like to purchase the extended warranty for your new car?"
