Excellent customer care is delivered by positive, enthusiastic, customer-centric employees. To keep employees motivated to deliver the best possible customer care every day - and build great customer relationships - you have to:

- Train employees about your company's plan for customer care excellence and specifically what is expected of them.

- Continuously point out the ways that excellent customer care benefits the company and the employees themselves.

- Let employees know when they’re doing things right so they can develop their own positive
"self-talk."
