What is digital authentication?
Digital authentication is a security layer service provided by a third-party to authenticate to a website's visitors -- typically e-commerce customers -- that the server they're about to use is the correct one and a secure one.
To acquire a digital authentication for your website, you will need to register your site with a company that issues digital certificates, also referred to as digital ID.
