Discounts for friends and familyQuestion How should I handle friends who think I should provide free or discounted prices because I'm home-based?
Answer Be direct and let them know you value their friendship, but business is business.
But in truth, many businesses offer discounts for just such relationships. Explain that you have certain expenses and overhead to cover, but you can offer a (insert whatever amount you come up with here) discount to friends and family.
