Answer Everybody loves referrals. And people also love to be recognized for giving referrals.
People just naturally like to help each other, but especially when they know their efforts are successful. A critical element in a successful referral program is to let your contact know when a referral he or she has made comes through and what it meant to you and the other party. From a phone call to an email to a hand-written card or note, let them know their referral helped - and was appreciated.
