Elements of creativity

Four specific elements have an impact on creativity and should be managed for optimal results:

- The person or persons involved: The characteristics of people, including personality, creativity and problem-solving preferences, experience, relationship to the question, etc.

- The process used: Deliberate creativity processes, operations or tools that may be used.

- The product: The resultant outcome of the creative process.

- The environment: The work environment and culture may either stimulate or retard creativity.
