Email punctuation and grammar

Question
Is it acceptable to send an email without proper grammar, punctuation and capitalization?
Answer
Yes, if you don't care what the recipient thinks about your education, intelligence and professionalism. Otherwise, no.

Any business email you send should have the same grammatical, punctuation, capitalization and content quality as any formal "hard-copy" letter you would print, sign and send.
