What is an employment assessment? 
Answer
An employment assessment is a measure of the job candidate's knowledge, skills or other characteristics. The assessment can also measure certain job related skills or aptitudes such as reasoning ability, knowledge of business terms, memory recall, vocabulary, numerical perception or mechanical interest. These exams are used by some firms to screen candidate's job-related behaviors for suitability to job requirements.

An assessment exam typically is combined with interpretation provided by a trained assessment specialist or psychologist.
