First franchise questionQuestion How do I determine if buying a franchise is for me?
Answer First, franchising is not for everyone. Owning and running a franchise is entrepreneurial coloring INSIDE the lines, which means that compliance with franchise operating procedures is a must, leaving little room for creative change.
Consequently, as a general rule of thumb, but by no means a requirement, those who have either worked within a corporate structure are typically the best candidates. It's important that you decide before you invest in the consideration of a franchise, and absolutely before you invest money in one, whether you can and will follow the system, the operations manuals, and the rules.
