You can find out what notices to post and obtain free copies for posting from the Department of Labor at www.dol.gov. You should be able to find a direct link to poster instructions in "Jim's Picks."

Answer a few questions posed by the eLaws Poster Advisor and you'll be told exactly which federal posters you need.

Also check with your state labor department about unemployment insurance and other state notices you're required to post.
