The best way to get publicity for your home-based business is to do what the "Big Boys" do: Generate P.R. Public relations is the process of reaching out to the media to generate news about your business.

With P.R., you must:

1. Do something newsworthy. Launch a new product or service, achieve a notable sales milestone, help out a non-profit organization, win an award, etc. Then...

2. Write a good press release (if you can't do it, get a professional to do it.). A press release tells the media the Five Ws and One H of your business or achievement (Who, What, When, Where, Why & How). AND it tells them how to get in touch with you.
