Home office client visits

Practice a "see, hear, and smell" standard. The sights, sounds and smells in your home become so familiar to you that you don't even recognize them anymore. However, someone coming to your house for business will be very aware if you had fish for dinner or the cat box hasn't been changed in a few days.

Here are some things you can do to make your client visits comfortable for both of you:

- Do a quick perusal of the entrance before their arrival
- Ask other members of the household to cooperate in keeping things picked up.
- Turn off televisions.
- Use plug-in air fresheners

Be careful of spray deodorizers and scented candles as some allergies can be aggravated by these scents.
