Home office creativity

What's the most creative space someone has used for a home office?
Creativity is a subtle and personal thing, but this one could win the award: A business consultant actually started her business in the front hall closet. She and her husband had a small townhouse that just didn't have any other room so they put in a shelf that acted as a desk, ran an extension cord for electricity and put in a stronger light. She now has an entire floor of her waterfront home for her business.

But if necessity is the mother of invention, then creativity is her twin sister. Home businesses have been run from sail boats tied up in Boston Harbor and in a suburban treehouse. Garages are common and even "armoire offices" - where the office is housed in a piece of furniture, are not uncommon. So long as they're effective, then they're suitable workspaces.
