Answer
Make the sales experience fun for your customers. Think of it this way: You're not selling a service or product, you're selling the experience. When you go to a restaurant, for example, you go for the experience, not the food. Of course you can eat at home, but going out and being served makes eating more fun.

Also, personalize the sales experience. Customize your customer's experience so their take-away is a uniquely personal event - that they will want have again and share with others.
