Incorporating first steps

You need to establish the following first:

- Find an attorney that works with small businesses.

- Corporate name: Your attorney will help you with this, but part of this process is to determine that the name you've chosen is available.

- Purpose: What business does your corporation plan to conduct? Your attorney will advise you to be fairly broad in this definition.

- Incorporators: Who are going to be the shareholders and corporate officers?
