Job offer content

Question
How do I word a written job offer?
Answer
A job offer should be prepared like a formal business letter, addressed to the employee candidate. Here are some words to help you get the body of the offer started.

"I'm pleased to offer you to join our company in the position of customer service representative. Your salary will be $550.00 per week. Your employment date will be March 1, 2007. Please report to our Smithville office at 12 noon on that date.

"You will be working on our afternoon shift work schedule of 12:00 PM until 8:30 PM Monday through Friday. For the first three days you will be in training, followed by a two-week period of supervised activity.

"Welcome aboard,"
