Licensing for Internet-based companies

An Internet-based company is just like any other business in terms of laws, licensing and regulations. Consequently, there are no laws that are unique to an Internet company.

However, any company, whether solely Internet-based, or one that incorporates the Internet into its traditional business model, is dependent upon the use of the telecommuncations infrastructure and environment, thus requiring a heightened awareness of those laws and regulations.
