Maintaining eye contact

How do I make sure I maintain great eye contact when speaking to customers or other groups?
Maintaining eye contact is vital to any successful speaker. Try these ideas to improving eye contact:

- Vary where you look, so that you don't 'mow the lawn'.

- Try to look at everyone for an entire thought or phrase.

- Don't play favorites. Sometimes the final decision-maker is the passive, silent one.

Confident people look at people without staring and use their eyes to sweep the group.
