Making an ImpressionQuestion What is the best way to make a strong impression?
Answer Become a great communicator by remembering that it's not always about what you say, but how you say it. Capture and maintain the attention of those you interact with in all your daily communications by:
- Speaking well. Choose your words and enunciate them clearly. - Composing your thoughts. Think before your speak. Well-placed pauses are fine - certainly better than, "like," "um," or "you know..." - Practicing this in every conversation. Whether you're answering the phone, conversing to peers, making a presentation at the office or even talking with your kids or family, make speaking well a habit. - Make eye contact. Don't stare people down, but regular eye contact makes a good impression and tells people you're paying attention to them. Women especially value eye contact.
