Answer The period of military leave for an extended tour of service may be up to five years. Military leave must also be granted for short-term duty, such as "summer camp" reserve training, or emergency disaster call-up.
Leave must be granted in the event an employee enlists, is conscripted or ordered for active duty in the uniformed services.
