Natural disaster assistance

Question
Is help available for businesses after a natural disaster?
Answer
Yes. A number of governmental agencies are set up to help small businesses during disasters. The most prominent is the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), which is charged, as part of its charter, to provide real estate and working capital loans to small businesses that have suffered losses during a disaster.

The website to use to find out what the SBA offers is http://www.sba.gov/DISASTER.

There also may be help from your state organizations, and also from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
