Online auction warranty disclaimersQuestion What are warranty disclaimers on eBay and other auctions?
Answer You can't really disclaim an express warranty; once you make a statement about an item, it's out there for public consumption, and you can't take it back. The goal is to disclaim all warranties other than those you have expressly made in your item description.
First, you have to state the item you are selling is 'as is' and 'with all faults.' Second, you have to make the following statement: "Except as set forth in this description, Seller disclaims any and all warranties about this item, express or implied.'
