Outsourcing decision process

After you've submitted every element of your process to the ultimate outsourcing question: "Must this be done in house?"

Then allow any task receiving a "no" answer to proceed to the next round of scrutiny with these three questions:

- Is it more cost effective to have others perform this service?

- Can this service be performed by a contractor in a timely manner without causing problems?

- Will contracting either be neutral for the customer or improve the customer experience?

The last question is critical to the equation. Remember to give it extra scrutiny and consideration.
