Policy manual topics

Question
What topics should be covered in a policy manual?
Answer
A policy manual should answer frequently asked questions common to employment in general, and your business or industry in particular. For example, employees generally want to know about issues such as compensation, vacation, holidays, healthcare and other benefits. Supervisors are concerned with productivity, attendance and dealing with employee performance or misconduct.

Your policy manual should provide guidance or answers on all these types of issues for both groups.
