Prepared answerQuestion How can you appear intelligent when answering a spontaneous question?
Answer Use the pros and cons approach. For times you have to think quickly on your feet and sound organized, imagine your issue in terms of what's good about it, and what's bad about it.
Begin your answer with, "There are pros and cons to this situation". Then briefly discuss the advantages and disadvantages. This will give you a few seconds to gather your thoughts and finish with one summary sentence such as "All in all the good news is the great weather and the bad news is the traffic."
