Reducing stress

Question
How can I reduce the amount of stress in my business?
Answer
To reduce stress in your business, develop a practice of happiness and gratitude with eight simple steps:

1. Write a letter to someone who has made a positive difference in your life.

2. Create an easily accessible gratitude journal for employees, and encourage everyone to enter at least one thing for which they’re grateful each day.

3. Stop everything for a few minutes and just breathe deeply. It’s a simple way of stopping stress in its tracks.

4. Begin meetings by having each person identify something for which they’re grateful.

5. Send thank-you cards to anyone who deserves one. Those little notes go a long way.

6. Send Thanksgiving gifts instead of traditional holiday presents.

7. Genuinely thank employees regularly for their efforts and achievements.

8. Recognize what you've accomplished instead of dwelling on what's left to be done.

We get more of what we concentrate on in life. So help your employees and stakeholders concentrate on the positive.
