Referral follow-up speedQuestion After I've received a referral by one of my customers, how long should I wait before making the first contact?
Answer Unless your referral source suggests that you should either call immediately, or wait a specific period, reasonable follow-up would be 2-3 days.
Send your new prospect a note or email, or make a phone call, expressing your gratefulness to your mutual friend for making the referral and your interest in following up with a meeting or other next step. Remember, don't be pushy, especially at this stage of the relationship.
