Regulations contacts

Question
Whom do I contact about comments I have regarding federal regulations?
Answer
The U.S. Small Business Administration actually has two very fine divisions that can help you:

The Office of Ombudsman is organized to help small businesses deal with regulatory challenges after they've been passed and promulgated into law. To follow up on regulatory enforcement issues, email ombudsman@sba.gov. Also, go to www.sba.gov and search for the Ombudsman. There, you will find a phone number to call.

The Office of Advocacy is organized to stop undue harm to small businesses by regulations being proposed by Congress. To submit comments on proposed regulations, send an email to advocacy@sba.gov or visit Advocacy's Web site at www.sba.gov/advo.
