Sales tax collection

There are three good sources for assistance with sales tax collections of all types -- city, county, state. The first one is professional, the second one is technology and the third is the government itself.

- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Contact a local firm and ask for someone who specializes in working with small businesses.

- Sales tax software. There are a number available.

- The Revenue Department in your state. There is probably one of these offices near you.
