Selling books to librariesQuestion Is it wise to sell to libraries, or will that hurt sales?
Answer The availability of your book in a library might hurt long-term sales, if it's fiction. But a good non-fiction book will do well regardless of its availability in a library.
People check out books and if they like them, then will order the book - which is the purpose of selling to libraries in the first place. The library is providing two valuable services: They buy your book, then they showcase it on their shelves and their Website. Placing an order form on the last page of your book will make ordering by library patrons easier.
