Spam filter defense

Let's get this out of the way first: the best way to avoid spam filters is to not send spam.

For those of us who aren't spammers, there are only a few things you can do to reduce the risk of your e-mails being filtered:

- Use a spam checker to see if your message contains any spam triggers

- Ask your recipients to add you to their safe senders list

- Avoid sending large numbers of e-mails using the blind copy feature.
