Voice technique is a uniquely personal attribute. Though you should stay within the limits of your natural range, a lower pitch gives a much more authoritative perception than a higher one.

Try to keep your jaw loose, as tightening it will raise the pitch, giving the impression of youthful inexperience. Stay relaxed so your upper body is free to vibrate.
