Speciality topics in policy manualsQuestion Should we include industry and operational policies in our employment and management policy manuals?
Answer Yes and no. What you're talking about are called specialty manuals, in that they relate to issues that may be unique to your operation, such as safety guidelines, hazardous material handling and communication, driver safety, workplace procedures, quality guidelines, management guidelines, and other issues of concern.
Separating these two -- employment and management from speacialty -- is more professional, more efficient and of course, less confusing.
