The art of nappingQuestion Is napping merely self-indulgent, or is there a good business reason for it?
Answer Napping is more than a self-indulgence. Research shows that nappers make fewer errors, are more productive, take fewer medications, require fewer doctor visits and sick days, exhibit better mood and enjoy greater longevity.
To resist the urge to nap will result in prolonged drowsiness. It's interesting to note that the time between 2 and 4 in the afternoon contains the highest incidence of highway, industrial and home accidents. How long should you nap? It's amazing how effective a 20-minute nap can be.
