U.S. business planning software in foreign countries?Question Does U.S. business planning software work for non-U.S. businesses?
Answer It shouldn't make much difference. Business planning software is more a tool for managing your plan than a country-specific instruction manual.
The rules of business remain the same, no matter what country you operate in: You still have to track history and project future activity. You have to manage the financial operating components; and your cash flow still depends on how well you manage inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable. The difference from one country to another has to do more with relative market opportunity, and local laws and regulations, which most programs allow you to take into consideration in the narrative and the spreadsheets.
