Value of networkingQuestion Is networking really worth my time?
Answer The short answer is: ABSOLUTELY.
When you think about it, networking is part of everyday life. Think of your current business or company and imagine how can you connect with each person, vendor, or client. You plant seeds to encourage referrals to sprout everyday. Just take that attitude and extend it to other venues. Remember: Networking isn't about you; it's about your relationship with the people you meet. Ask questions, show interest, and ask about things that are of interest to them. The "time" that you invest will be paid back many times over as you develop and build these relationships. Think of the associations you belong to and make the time that you go to these meetings and functions work for you.
