Value of safety programs

First, it's the right thing to do. Period!

Safety programs are focused on the health and well being to your employees, who, while they're on your clock, have an expectation of safety provided by your company.

Second, safety programs can reduce costs by preventing lost time, injury claims, property damage, and lawsuits, which can result in lower insurance premiums. Furthermore, unsafe environments are bad for morale and productivity, whose effect is cumulative year after year.

Third, in many cases, it's the law.
